Richard H. Andrus has experience in multiple aspects of real-estate and land-use matters.  His skill set involves drafting and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, restrictive covenants, and related homeowners’ association documents.  His experience also includes obtaining land-use approvals and entitlements from cities, counties, and government agencies.  Mr. Andrus rounds out his practice with litigation experience in various aspects of real estate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining Spink Butler, LLP in 2006, Mr. Andrus served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Cheri Copsey (Fourth District, State of Idaho) from 2005-2006.

Mr. Andrus received a dual undergraduate degree in economics and political science from Utah State University.  He graduated cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he served as Executive Editor for the BYU Journal of Public Law.
